This 100% cotton, 230 thread count percale duvet protector provides a barrier against dust mites and their allergens. Dust mite allergens average around 10 microns in size. The pore size of this protector has been tested to be 4.99 microns to keep out these particles. As medically recommended, the encasement-style featherbed protector's zipper has a special interior fabric flap to provide additional protection.
