The comforter's shell is made from exquisitely lightweight batiste. Only the best mills in the world weave such a fine 100% combed cotton, downproof fabric, and we're proud to have been the first in this country to craft comforters with it. Finished with reinforced seams and piping. Box-stitched construction keeps the fill evenly distributed.

Care instructions: Frequently shake to refresh down filling. Air outside to keep smelling fresh. Spot clean small stains with a mild detergent and completely dry area with a hand-held hair dryer. We recommend using a front-loading commercial washer and dryer, with cool water and our Fine Fabrics Wash or your preferred mild detergent. Dry completely on a low setting to prevent mildew. Use down fluffers, or similar object, in the dryer to help evenly distribute the down. For best results, commercial washing and drying is recommended. Frequent washing may cause shell to become less downproof.
