How to Choose Bed Sheet Fabrics

When choosing which sheets are right for you, most everything comes down to weight, texture, appearance, and value.

Consider the following questions:

  • Are you looking for breathable, lightweight sheets, or heavier, warm sheets?
  • Are you looking for a texture that's silky, crisp, or simply soft?
  • How would you like your sheets to look on the bed; lustrous, billowy, or fit?
  • Are there special features, like moisture wicking, that are important?
  • What about thread count?
  • Do you need easy care sheets, or do you enjoy ironing your sheets?
  • What level of quality are you looking for? Is longevity or value more important to you?
