Does stitching quality matter when choosing a comforter?

Answer:

The stitching quality of a comforter plays an important role ensuring that a product is down proof. All of our products are piped, with double rows of stitching along the perimeter edges of the comforter and pillow. Every seam is sewn closed with a minimum of 12 stitches per inch. This makes the binding stronger and the comforter more durable. Avoid down products that have no piping or only a single row of stitching along the perimeter, as down may leak through the edges.
