How should I care for down?

Answer:

Your down comforter or pillows should be protected by a comforter cover or pillow protector, which eliminates the need to wash the actual product. We recommend you follow the European custom of airing your down products, outdoors, on a regular basis. Regular airing will keep your down products smelling fresh and clean. If you use a cover and periodically air your comforter or pillow, it will not get dirty and should never require cleaning.
