Our customers have always had questions about this problem, so we decided to do something about it. In 2003, we introduced our award-winning, patented Dual Warmth Comforter, solving the problem by letting you pick the right warmth level for each of you and fastening them together into one standard or oversized Queen or King comforter.
Here's how it works:
- You each choose the warmth level that you prefer, the fabric style of the comforter, and the size of your bed.
- Choose two comforter halves from any of our four different fabrics and warmth levels.
- We'll send you the two sections, and you easily connect them with the provided "cuff link" style fasteners. Cover with a comforter cover, and only you will know the difference.
- The result: a personalized Dual Warmth Sleeping System that is perfect for both of you.
The standard sizes fit into a regular comforter cover, and the Oversized Sizes fit into our Oversized Comforter Covers, so you won't have to change your decorating plan. When the season changes, just substitute a warmer or cooler section, and you'll both be comfortable year-round.
Unlike zippers, snaps, or buttons, our connectors are virtually unbreakable, and you won't feel them either. The overlap between sections is specially constructed to prevent cold air from sneaking between the sections. Two sections connect together with easy "cuff link" fasteners that are not noticeable when in use.
