At Cuddledown, your satisfaction is important to us. No authorization from customer service is required if you need to return or exchange an item. We cannot accept returns on monogrammed, personalized, or special-order items.

Use Original Cuddledown Packing Slip
Returning/Exchanging without Cuddledown Packing Slip or Prepaid label
To return merchandise, repack items in a sturdy box with the enclosed packing slip, complete the form, and choose one of the following:
• Use the enclosed SmartPost® return label included in your package. If you're not exchanging your item, a return shipping fee of $9.50 will be deducted from your return refund. Additional information: FedEx Smart Post
• Use the return label on the front of the packing slip form, prepay and insure via USPS (United States Postal Service).
Note: If you received your Cuddledown item as a gift or have misplaced the original packing slip, you can download a pdf of the packing slip here. Read more about shipping without a packing slip or prepaid label in the next section.
Simply hand your return package to your mail carrier or contact your local Post Office to make arrangements for a free pick-up from the USPS. Remove the top strip of the prepaid label that says GROUND A.R.S TRACKING NUMBER and retain it so you can easily track your package via FedEx. Please note that the prepaid return and exchange label may only be used on orders within the US and Puerto Rico.

If you received your Cuddledown item as a gift or have misplaced the original packing slip, you can download a pdf of the packing slip here.
When shipping without an original packing slip or prepaid label, be sure to indicate whether you would like an exchange, credit card refund, or a check refund. Be sure to fill out the second page fully so we can expedite your return or exchange request.
We are not able to provide an online version of the prepaid label for download, but you can send your returned items via prepaid, insured FedEx Home Delivery (standard/ground shipping) or via USPS (United States Postal Service).

For exchanged items we will cover the return shipping expenses both ways, even if you do not use the prepaid return label. Items returned for refund do not qualify for shipping refunds.
Canadian and Other International Returns and Exchanges
If you would like to exchange the product for another item, simply use the prepaid return label included with your order, and the shipping is FREE for the return shipping as well as the cost to ship the exchanged item back to you (yes, both ways!).
If this was a gift and you do not have the prepaid label, please call our customer service department at 1-800-323-6793, and we will be happy to assist you. It's helpful if you can provide the gift purchaser's name and address.
If you need the exchanged item quickly, our customer service representatives can process an Expedited Exchange for you.
Returns or Exchanges at Our Store in Freeport Maine
Fill out page 2 of the packing slip and include with your return. Canadian orders ship USPS or FedEx International Ground, and other international orders ship via FedEx International or international air parcel post. All orders may incur duty, tax and brokerage fees (please contact your local Customs Office or FedEx for more information).
How can I check on the status of my return or exchange?
You may also return or exchange an item at our retail store in Freeport Maine. Please note however that our full product line is not available in the store, so we recommend calling first to ensure your exchange item is available. After a return or exchange arrives at Cuddledown, it can take a week or more for it to be processed and the credit to be posted, or the item/s to be shipped back to you.
For more rapid exchanges, call to arrange an Expedited Exchange with our Customer Service Department so we can send your new products out right away instead of waiting for your package to arrive at our warehouse.
