At Cuddledown, your satisfaction is important to us and we want you to enjoy your Cuddledown products fully. No authorization from customer service is required if you need to return or exchange an item. We cannot accept returns on monogrammed, personalized, or special-order items.
Free Shipping on Exchanges!
If you are not satisfied with an item for any reason, we would be happy to exchange the product for another item. You may use the prepaid return label included with your order, and the shipping is FREE for the return shipping as well as the cost to ship the exchanged item back to you (yes, both ways!). If this was a gift and you do not have the prepaid label, please call our customer service department and we will be happy to assist you. It's helpful if you can provide the gift purchaser's name and address.
If you need the exchanged item quickly, we can process an Expedited Exchange for you. Please contact a Customer Service Representative to assist you with this.
Need to return an item for a refund?
Our products are guaranteed to fit, guaranteed to last and guaranteed to completely satisfy. If you would like to return a Cuddledown item for a refund, we've made returning your items quick and easy. Simply fill out page 2 of the packing slip and use the prepaid return label included with your order. If you are not exchanging the returned item for another product, there is a $9.50 fee for using the prepaid label. You may also ship via another method if you prefer, but we recommend that you insure your package as we cannot be responsible for returned items that are lost in the mail.
Don't have the original packing slip or prepaid label?
If you received your Cuddledown item as a gift or have misplaced the original packing slip, no problem.

Be sure to indicate whether you would like an exchange, credit card refund, or a check refund. Be sure to fill out the second page fully so we can expedite your return or exchange request.
We are not able to provide an online version of the prepaid label for download, but you can send your returned items via prepaid, insured UPS Ground or Parcel Post to:

Again, we will cover the return shipping expenses both ways for exchanged items, even if you do not use the prepaid return label. Items returned for refund do not qualify for shipping refunds.
Using the Prepaid Return and Exchange Label
If you are using the prepaid label, there are a few important things to note.
- Only for use on orders within the US and Puerto Rico
- After you fill it out, please remove the bottom strip that says GROUND A.R.S TRACKING NUMBER and retain it for your records so you can easily track your package with UPS.
- There is a shipping charge of $9.50 for use of this label if you are not exchanging your returned item for another product.
- You must make arrangements to get the package to UPS. To find a UPS location, click here. You can also read more here about UPS package returns.
- On the backside of the label, there are comprehensive instructions on how to use. Our customer Service Representatives are also glad to assist.
Returns or Exchanges at Our Store in Freeport Maine
You may also return or exchange an item at our retail store in Freeport Maine. Please note however that our full product line is not available in the store, so we recommend calling first to ensure your exchange item is available. Canadian and Other International Returns and Exchanges
Fill out page 2 of the packing slip and include with your return. You will need to ship via a method locally available to you for international shipping as the prepaid shipping labels are not available for international returns. Taxes and duty obligations may vary by country. Please check with your local postal service for information.
How can I check on the status of my return or exchange?
It can take us up to a week to process a return or exchange after it arrives to Cuddledown and then a few more days after that for the credit to post or for the exchanged items to be shipped back out to you.
For exchanges, you can speed up the process by calling and arranging an Expedited Exchange with our Customer Service Department so we can send your new products out right away instead of waiting for your package to arrive at our warehouse.
