Versatile, natural and renewable
Linen is created from the flax plant, a multi–faceted and renewable resource. The environmental site Treehugger.com called flax one of its “optimal materials for America.” Flax can be used to make everything from linen textiles to linoleum flooring, and flax seed oil is known for its Omega–3 fatty acids, an important part of nutritional health. And linen fabric is also fully biodegradable
Linen fabric is used to create fine clothing, and footwear, curtains, table cloths and napkins, and of course, linen sheeting.
Sleep soundly in complete comfort
Linen is a highly absorbent, temperature regulating fabric that becomes softer after every wash! Best of all, some studies have suggested that linen bedding can improve sleep! A widely quoted study from the University of Milan found that you fall asleep faster, sleep deeper, and wake up in a better mood after sleeping on linen sheeting. Warm in the winter and cool in the summer — linen is a breathable fabric which can wick away moisture, unlike lesser polyester blend sheets.
If a crisp, sharp-corned bed is your idea of nirvana, perhaps linen isn't for you, but if you dream of sleeping soundly on heavenly soft sheets that are all-natural, breathable, adjust to your body temperature, and are environmentally friendly, then like many of our customers, you too will love linen!
